আকিজ মটরস এর কর্মকর্তা ও কর্মচারীদের ইমেইলে ফোরাম একাউন্টে লগিন করার জন্য ইউজারনেম ও পাসওয়ার্ড সেন্ড করা আছে । যদি ফোরামে স্টাফ ইউজার হিসেবে লগিন না করেন তাহলে নিদ্রিস্ট কিছু ফোরাম ছাড়া কোনো ডিপার্টমেন্ট এর পোস্ট/ডিসকাশন দেখতে পাবেন না । তাই প্রথমে লগিন করে সব ফোরাম পুরোপুরি এ্যাকসেস করুন ।
The best way to get help in this forum is to ask your questions in a way that makes it easiest for us to give you help. Consider the following to be a series of informal guidelines for posting questions.
1: Treat other members with the respect they deserve. This should go without saying, but treat others like you would like to be treated !
2: The forum language is English & Bengali only! Please only post in other languages in PM.
3: Please do not spam. The definition of spam is an irrelevant or advertising post. Any post considered spam will be removed.
4: Please do not post topics text in all CAPITALS since this is considered to be shouting and is not necessary.
5: Please refrain from posting images larger than 800x600. This is considerate to members with slow internet speeds, and keeps the forum looking tidy.
6: Using red text is forbidden. Only moderators and administrators may use this.
7: Insulting and flaming or personal attacks against forum staff will be not tolerated.
8: Please be considerate in language you use on the forum, some of our members are younger than others. Swearing is not completely banned, just do not swear unnecessarily, and only use minor words. A filter is in place to safeguard this system.
9: No hacking, and illegal activity, such as torrents and illegal downloads, this will not be tolerated, and if appropriate, may be reported to local authority.
10: Please do not post inappropriate material, I think everyone understands what I mean by this. The policy goes that if you would not feel comfortable viewing it at work, or in front of children or parents, don't post it !
I think these rules are clear, and easy to follow. These are only in place to ensure our community is a fun place to be, and a comfortable atmosphere for all.
What happens if I break a rule ?
Depending on the severity of the infraction, a different course of action may be taken, but the usual practice is as follows :
1: First rule break (Minor offence) :
Corrected, A PM may of been sent, no further action taken
For a more serious offence, a warning will be issued, this is a mark against your name letting us know you have broken a rule
2: Second rule break.
3: Third rule break
On your 3rd warning, you will receive a temporary ban, the length of which will depend on the severity of the incident.
4: On another breach of rules :
After this it will be assumed you will not learn your lesson, so you will receive a permanent ban, meaning you will never be able to visit the forum again.

Before you post:
Before you ask questions of others, it is respectful to put forth some effort in solving the issue yourself. It is generally faster for you (if your question has already been answered) and it keeps down the number of redundant or simple questions the forums receive. To this end, you should do the following before asking a question:
1: There are many good sources of information on WEBSITES available on the web. You should check these before posting.
2: Google is your friend. Or Bing, if you prefer. Or whatever search engine you prefer; it doesn’t matter. It would be best for all involved if your question could not be answered via a simple search based on the terms you’re interested in.
3: Search the forum. The Akij Motors forums have an extensive search function. It is very possible that your question has been asked and answered already before. Make use of those search abilities before posting (but don’t post in the thread you find unless it is a recent thread).
4: This forum is an Motors/Automobile forum, not a general forum. So try to focus your question(s) on Automobile/Vehicle matters.
1: Use a clear topic title. A good topic title should be a very short summary of the problem. For example, if your problem seems to be with spare parts, then the word “spare parts” should be somewhere in the title. Titles probably should be 8 words or less, though more can be used when necessary.
There is also no need to use words like “please help” or “urgent” in your topic title. By posting in the forum, you are already asking for help; simply state what the problem is. And people will generally not quickly flock to your topic just because you claim that it is urgent.
2: Put your question in the correct forum area/category. There is a text description for what each forum category is for, so this should not be particularly difficult.
The department-specific forums are not for users working on a particular department. They are for issues related specifically to that department.
3: Do not post the same topic in multiple forum areas. This is called "cross-posting", and is not necessary for you to get help. If you make a post in the wrong forum area, only post again in the right one if people have not already started to comment on your current one. Also, lack of comments is not a sign that you have posted in the wrong area.
4: Clearly state your problem in your text. Make sure to include all relevant details. If you have only written single paragraph, that’s probably not enough detail. A single sentence is completely out of the question. While overdoing the detail is possible, it’s better to put too much detail in than not enough detail.
Never just say “it doesn’t work”; that is almost never helpful, nor is writing a single sentence and posting a little words. What you don’t want to do is engage in dueling dialog, where the first responder asks for clarification, you provide an additional detail, they ask for more clarification, and so on.
To this end, your post should include:
What the problem you’re having is.
What the results you expect to see are.
What you are actually seeing, and how it differs from what you expect to see.
Use pictures if it makes it easier to understand the issues around the problem. The more relevant information you provide (to a point), the more likely the forum users are to be able to solve your problem.
5: Supply all relevant information about your problem.
6: Do not post in old topics. If your search on this site unearthed a topic with a similar question to yours, but that topic hasn’t been posted in for more than 6 months, resist the urge to post in that topic, no matter how appropriate it may seem. Simply make a new topic; it will decrease confusion for readers of the topic. If you need to refer back to the old one, post a link in your description.
7: Do not request help in Off-Topic. Specifically, do not ask a question openly in the forum, then provide your email address and tell people to mail you the answer.
The purpose of a discussion forum is to discuss things openly. This allows everyone to share in the discussion as well as allowing everyone to share in the results. By asking for private help via email, you are taking away from the forum without giving back. As you might imagine, this is quite impolite.
Something similar goes for private messages. Do not post a topic and then private message forum members as a way of advertising it.
8: Do not simply post a link to your question on another website/forum/etc. Post the entirety of your question here. It is fine to post links to images or code, but the actual explanation of your issue should be in the topic/post itself.
Formatting your post:
Proper formatting is always a good idea. If someone can’t read your post, they can’t answer your question.
1: Avoid net-speak and use reasonable English. Common mistakes include:
Using “u” instead of “you”, or similar improper contractions.
Not capitalizing the word “I” or the first letter of sentences.
The use of multiple exclamation points or question marks at the end of a sentence.
The use of ellipsis marks (...) instead of periods.
2: Paragraphs should have an empty line between them. Also, paragraphs should usually consist of more than one sentence. Putting each sentence on a paragraph is not necessary and makes the post difficult to read.
3: Word wrapping is automatic. You do not need to manually word wrap by pressing <enter> at the end of a line.
